Get Your Banana out of My Twatson, Man

Breaking News! Or is it just broken? Whatever.

Twatson is finally taking on all of her naysayers, bukkake style. And you just know it's dirty because she titled it for her mother's benefit. Mom, don't read this. (trigger warning, if you have a gag reflex).

Like all of my Twatson posts, I'm not putting much thought into this because, as I've said, this shit kind of writes itself. She does inform us that no one who has spoken against her is adequate to the task:
These are people who desperately want to insult me, but have neither the wit nor the intelligence to do it properly.

As one of the intellectually gifted on the short bus, I can tell you that being the smartest one around - ever! - is no easy position. While the rest of the 'tards are staring out the windows, or just licking them, I'm lost in deep thought: if I drool in my lap when I'm sitting down, where does it go when I stand up? Twatson, no doubt, can profoundly sympathize with Deep Thoughts like that. It's worth the mention, Twatson, that we aren't desperate to insult you. Nor do we need to be particularly witty or intelligent to do so. All I've had to do for the last month is say nothing about you and just let you talk, unprompted. And the material just lands on my desk, like shit and a fan.

An Actual Renaissance Woman

I've been thinking about my latest video and blag article on Twatson, and some of the, um, eloquent feedback, "leave Becky alone you [sic] rapist." and other pearls of erudition. Here's Carolyn Porco's discussion, in part, about Galileo. Note the difference to Twatson.

So, here's part two!

Unrelated note: Wangari Maathai's death is trending on Twitter still. Apparently, if you're an AIDS denialist, conspiracy theorist but plant a lot of trees, you can get a Nobel Peace Prize and people magically think you're a person of note. She's one smart cookie, noting that she knows HIV/AIDS didn't come from the moon (as a followup to her claim that HIV/AIDS was the white man's attempt to kill off the black man).

I suppose it's fitting she had Oprah and Tom Cruise as the masters of ceremony for her 2004 Nobel Peace Price party shindig thingy. Bleh.

Oh, I Love The Google Machine . . .

And people who have greater competence in it than I have.

Franc Hoggle, among others such as myself, has also been looking into Twatson's background. He found this lovely bit from the google cache of yesteryear.  In addition to having a mastery with language and metaphor I lack, he's also a careful critic, thinker and has a wicked sense of irony.  Check him out if you've not otherwise done so.

Heading off to Surgery

In case I die from like a freak whatever freaky shit happens while people are digging around inside my body, I thought I'd leave a potential magnum opus dedicated to Twatson - just a way of saying "Love, The Justicar"

Skeptics Guide to the Nonsense

So, I've finally gotten around to listening to the Rebecca Twatson elevatorgate performance on Skeptics Guide to the Universe. I've never before listened to this podcast, and based on the lot of what they cover, I am none the poorer for it.  But, you know, I'm taking one here for the team and subjecting my ear holes to the unwanted nonsense these people want to cram inside them.
