I'm a Nazi - Obviously

How do I know?

Well, for the same reason that laughing at a rape joke, a racist joke, a child molestation joke, a murder joke, or someone walking face first into glass indicate that I live in a society that is friendly and accepting of racism, rape, child molestation, murder and all the rest so too it must therefore follow that the United States is friendly to Nazis. Because, you know, I laugh at Nazi jokes.

Now, don't let the fact that we've gone to war and killed millions of Nazis, routinely imprison murderers, rapists, child molesters and all the rest counsel otherwise. Laughing at a joke quite obviously indicates one lives in a society that is friendly to whatever is the underlying story of a particular joke.

Tosh made a joke about rape (or a comment depending on what one reads) or some such. And that, of course, translates to the whole of society being supportive of actual rape - not supportive of jokes. No sir (or ma'am). Laughter quite obviously to the culturally and socially plugged in people who just 'get it' supports not comedy, not humor, not laughter, not irony, but rape. It couldn't be anything but.

When will you fuckers learn that you can stop all the ills of the world by not laughing? Mel Brooks, shame on you.

Just, you know,  a Nazi joke and a rape joke aren't exactly the same things.  A Holocaust joke and a rape joke are a probably more akin.  And if, in 1946, a comedian made a Holocaust joke and a Jew in the audience said "That's not funny" and the comedian responded "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if like 5 Nazis kidnapped that Jew, tore his gold teeth out, worked him near to death than killed him in a gas chamber" my guess is people would have been upset.  Just, you know, pointing that out.

And a joke about a chicken crossing a road going left to right isn't *exactly* the same as a joke about one going right to left.

And then to prove that a Nazi joke and a rape joke are like way totally different, and that the correct metaphor is probably holocaust and rape, you then tell a Nazi joke. Why is it, do you suppose, you weren't able to tell a holocaust joke that wasn't a Nazi joke? indeed, that you you're saying a Nazi joke isn't closely enough related, why then to prove your point did you tell a Nazi joke?

I'm not asking to be a dick (well, okay, not only to be a dick).  It's almost like there's some connection between "nazi" and "holocaust" such that the mention of one necessarily is a mention of the other.

I wonder, can you figure out the difference between these two "rape" related comedy bits?

Example 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sh4I1Yqq7EM

Example 2: Wouldn't it be funny if, like, 5 guys raped that woman right now?

"I was just in berlin. It really sucked, I couldn't get a good bagel. Wonder why that is?"

Clearly, Emo Phillips is a nazi.

Funny how you provide a full video of one bit, and a single quote from the other. Because that way, we can all fully evaluate both.

I take exception to you so graphically describing the Nazi concentration camps. My grandfather died in a concentration camp. Try to imagine my grandmother's horror at learning he imbibed too much alcohol and fell from his guard tower.
